About Sultan Inn
The caravanserai consists of a closed section with an open courtyard and five Falcons, in the middle of which is the pavilion Masjid.On the crown gate of the closed section, the inscription found in a very damaged state, I. The name of Alaeddin Keykubad can be identified. The Han, which is included in the examples consisting of closed and open sections in the direction of the Plan, takes its importance directly from the fact that it is one of the Khans commissioned by the Sultan and its figural decorations. There are no places connected to or near the structure such as Masjid, bath, toilet. The Sultan Inn was built on a land that leans very little from south to North. Inn; it is designed as two sections covering the shelter and service spaces where the needs of the passenger, freight and animal trio will be met during their stay. The section on the north side is the courtyard section and is designed to be larger than the covered shelter section on the south side. With its high and distinctive wall supported by buttresses and towers, the building has gained the identity of a small castle.On the exterior wall surface there are çörtens arranged in The Shape of a stylized lion head (short groove placed on the eaves surface on the roofs). The Hamama is crossed by the door that leads from the Western Front to the northern front. In the middle of the courtyard of the bath consisting of dressing,cold, warmth, water tank and Ashan sections is the pavilion Masjid. The Masjid space is reached by a stepped staircase arranged in two floors on the north facade. Two dragons are depicted on the southern facade.The Arch is depicted in the keystone , with its curving bodies rendered with Flake patterns of Dragons rendered in a style that looks at each other from its profile, with its slant eyes and pointed teeth .The crown door of the closed section has survived intact. The door is surrounded by a border of geometric ornamentation consisting of eleven-spoke star systems placed in two meander arrays and broken-line crossings connecting them.
