About Güpgüpoğlu Mansion, Ethnography Museum

The museum is on the second floor of the building and can be reached by a staircase with wooden steps. The rooms are arranged around the middle hall. There is a semi-open mansion in the north of the hall. Glass, tile, wood and metal works in the big room in the east of the hall, firearm, cutting and piercing weapons and men's clothes in the entrance hall of the second room; In the second small room, women's ornaments and women's clothing are exhibited.

In the large room at the entrance to the south of the hall, the coins of the Islamic States are arranged in chronological order, and in the other small room are the manuscripts of the Quran, writing sets and greetings. Copper household items, carpets and rugs are exhibited in the large room in the west of the hall. In the semi-open mansion, the Turkmen Tent, the Seljuk and Ottoman Period jars; In the garden, Islamic gravestones and stone decoration pieces were presented and visited.

It was established in Hunat Hatun Madrasa in 1983, it was built in 1419-1497 in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi, Tennuri Street in 1997, and it was built between XVIII. It was moved to the Güpgüpoğlu Mansion, which is under construction until the century. One part of the mansion was exhibited in an order that reflects Ottoman houses, the other sections serve as the Ethnography Museum and Turkish Islamic works belonging to the Seljuk and Ottoman Period are exhibited.
