In the first years of the republic, while Yozgat Province was a sub-district of Boğazlıyan District, it was renamed 'FELAHİYE' in 1925, which means 'Liberation' by the decision of Yozgat Provincial Standing Council. The district was connected to Güneşli “Mancusun”, one of the central districts of Kayseri Province, in 1926. The Aladaglar flowers and unique natural wonders set up on the banks of the coast offer the athletes insatiable views and beautiful areas thanks to the seven lakes.
