Hacılar

Our district of Hacılar, with its year-old horses on the outskirts of Erciyes, the newly formed ski center and cute colorful houses in the district center; It is rumored that the townspeople belonged to Kayı Boyu of Oghuz Turks. The people of Hacılar were first settled in the "Dort Kuyular" location of Begendik district, within the boundaries of the district, between 1411-1500, and later settled in the Dort Kuyular location where they settled in 1726 for various reasons, and then leaving the area of ​​Dort Kuyular where they settled in 1726 for various reasons. they are now located in the current location. Hacılar, which was subordinate to Kayseri Central District and then to Melikgazi District in terms of administration, became a district with the Law numbered 3647 published in the Official Gazette dated 18.05.1990 and officially became operational on 09.09.1991.
